Avoid touching your new piercing and keep it away from soap, perfume, hair, and cosmetics for the first few weeks. Follow your piercing specialist’s instructions and use Claire’s Aftercare Solution.
How long do nose piercings take to heal?
Nose piercings usually heal in about 8 weeks with Claire’s Standard Aftercare Solution. If you use Rapid™ Aftercare Cleanser, you may be able to change your piercing in just 6 weeks. Always follow your piercing specialist’s instructions.
How do I clean my piercing?
Wash and dry your hands before cleaning your piercing. Use Claire’s Aftercare Solution on a cotton pad to clean the area three times daily. Avoid lotions, skincare products, and swimming until the piercing is fully healed.
What should I bring to my/my child’s piercing appointment?
All piercings are subject to age restrictions. Minors need a parent or legal guardian to sign the Claire’s Piercing Registration Form. ID may be required to confirm age. Accepted IDs include a driver’s license, passport, or proof-of-age card.
- For those under 16: A parent or guardian must be present. Guardians may need to provide proof of guardianship.
